Things that make your life easier

Since I can remember, I’ve loved comfort and well-being.
I’m not talking about that comfort someone creates for you and you just settle into it, nor am I referring to that sense of well-being you have without doing anything.

When I talk about comfort, I mean those things that can be automated, simplified, or even made accessible, so they’re within reach.

Now, once the idea of comfort has been explained, I hope it’s clear to you, even though it seems clear in my head, but maybe it only seems that way 😊, let me tell you about some things that simplify my whole life and reduce both energy consumption and time:

1. I make and maintain order. Not necessarily that there’s not a speck of dust, I’d say it’s quite the opposite, considering I don’t like cleaning the floor (whether it’s hardwood, tile, carpet, etc.), but that’s just between us, 😊. When I say order, I mean that everything has its place. If someone wakes you up at 3 in the morning asking for a needle, you can semi-awake hand it to them. This way, you don’t spend time searching for an object you need at some point, and you don’t waste energy getting annoyed because you can’t find it.
How do I organize things? Whether we’re talking about the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office, storage room, or whatever else… I could respond in some later texts, just let me know if you’re interested.

2. To reduce the feeling of chaos both in the wardrobe and especially in the house in general, I try to maintain a rule, I can call it, I have no idea what to call it 😊 If I find the words, I’ll get back to you 😊, namely: I keep 2-3 basic colors throughout the house + as much as possible, I buy things in sets.
You might say it’s just a psychological thing, I don’t disagree, just imagine on one table, 6 identical cups, of the same color, and on another table, still 6 cups, but with different colors and shapes? Which part inspires cleanliness more to you?

Or, for example, a room, if in one room you have 100 things of 100 colors, and in another you have the same 100 things, but in a maximum of 3 colors, which one gives you a sense of cleanliness?

Attention to people with visual impairments: if you have a good memory and a developed sense of touch, I suggest you get socks of different colors and textures, but if you don’t want to bother with that and yet, you somehow don’t want to be noticed by the socks you wear, 🙂 my recommendation is to get them in the same color and texture.

I’m an avid fan of everything aesthetic, even though visually I can’t enjoy it. I try to project everything my mind imagines into my surroundings. That being said, I could talk a lot about how we make a space well-organized, practical, and at the same time, aesthetic. But to avoid overwhelming you, not to mention boring you, because my ego can’t perceive such things, 🙂 by giving you too much information, I’ll give them to you one at a time.

Because #Accessibility_is_not_a_luxury and can be started with what we have at hand, in our limited space (room, house, office, etc).

The big world, I say, is a projection of the small world each of us builds.

If you want to learn more about such matters, don’t hesitate to leave me a comment.

What tricks for simplifying life and activities do you use? (tricks, so to speak) 😉
